Into the Box 2017 is coming up soon. If you haven't got your tickets yet, you better grab them soon. Workshops are almost full, there is limited availability for the workshops, so don't wait for the last minute. In case you need a little more encouragement, todays post, we're going to mention a couple of things that make Into the Box even more special… including a special Speaker Dinner where you can mingle with the speakers, happy box, and more.

Special Events

Wednesday April 26th - 6:00pm - Ortus Sponsored Speaker + Guest Dinner.

We have scheduled a special Speaker + Workshop Dinner on the night of Wednesday April 26th. The dinner is located at a Fielding's Wood Grill, within walking distance from the hotel / conference location. Ortus will foot the bill for the initial rounds food and drinks, to promote networking and socializing between the speakers, and the attendees. We hope to see you all there.

Remember, some of the Workshops are Free… sign up while availability lasts.

Thursday April 27th - 6:20pm - Ortus Team Q&A and Happy Box

Enjoy snacks, drinks, and hands on access to the Ortus Team for a Q&A. No Into The Box is complete, followed by the best Mariachi Band in CFML.

Last year we were lucky enough to have the Fusion Reactor team lay down some dance moves, and Jorge Reyes shared some amazing vocals as he joined the band for a couple of songs.

Happy Box is a great time to catch up with speakers and attendees alike, ask questions, discuss your day, or just sit back, relax, and let the mariachi massage your brain.

Saturday April 29th - Texas Beer Bus Tour

The Woodlands Brewery Tour runs every Saturday ( you must book early to save a spot ) is a great way to top off Into The Box if you are not flying out of Houston early. The tour runs from mid morning to mid afternoon, and tickets are approx $75.

On this craft-beer crawl of 3 Breweries, you’ll enjoy a VIP tour of each brewery, be offered tastings at each location, learn the craft of beer making, find out how to distinguish between different varieties, and appreciate this familiar beverage like a true beer connoisseur.’ You won’t have to worry about drinking and driving because transportation is provided… plus free snacks!

There are several dining options within close walking distance, including:

  • Culver's
  • Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers
  • Jimmy Johns
  • Ploy Thai Cuisine

Attractions

Into The Box should keep you busy, with great content, great speakers, and great conversations, but if you want to venture out, there are a lot of activities in and around the woodlands area. The Hyatt website lists a comprehensive list if you would like to learn more.

The paintball sounds like fun, but might be messy, but I think a stroll down by the water at Hughes Landing sounds nice, especially with the bar and restaurants available there. Don't forget to buy those guilt gifts for the kids and husband/wife at home by visiting Market Street, with indoor and outdoor shops, and even some fancy boutiques, depending on how many brownie points you need to earn.

In summary

Into the Box is going to be great, I hope to see you all there, and make this ITB one to remember.
